    Venkat is part of the Tesco India executive leadership team and the Tesco Business Solution global leadership team.

    Venkat has transformed this team into a unit that plays a central role in Tesco's group strategy. This includes setting up of Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) partnering with the CXOs and delivering commercial impact and cultural transformation by solving a combination of day-to-day decision challenges as well as step-change transformations such as Customer personalisation, Category management science, Large-scale demand forecasting, and Cost base optimisation, and experimentation science across group businesses.

    Over the last few years, his team emerged as a thought leader and impact creator for the Tesco group - covering all business functions, all operating countries, and all possibilities across the analytics spectrum ranging from reporting to ML/science transformations at scale. From a 70-member reporting team, this function has now grown into a global team of 250 applied data scientists

Progressing through roles, he assumed the position of Macro Process Lead at Accenture, overseeing diverse sectors such as Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Defense, Utility Energy, and Alcobev.

    His career trajectory continued with Senior Leadership Roles at Diageo and Philips, where he recognized the imperative to fortify his skills amidst technological evolution. With over eighteen years in Operations & Governance Management, he brings a comprehensive organizational perspective. He complements this with an Executive Program in Operations Management certificate (EPOM) from IIM Calcutta and holds a Black Belt certification from the Benchmark Six Sigma institute, augmenting his strategic and process improvement capabilities.

    In the domains of business strategy, operations, and governance, he emphasizes the pivotal role of master data transformation in enhancing productivity, quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery times.     Damian Granowski serves as the Senior Director of Data Analytics, FP&A and the Data Analytics Center of Excellence at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), a leading media and entertainment company operating in more than 220 countries and territories around the world. He is a finance executive with international experience in building operational strategies and leading large-scale digital transformation and automation initiatives. In his current role with WBD, Damian manages a global team responsible for supporting financial management reporting across the enterprise as well as for developing self-service BI platforms leveraged by business teams and functional groups throughout the company.

    Prior to joining WBD, Damian worked in senior management roles at Nationale-Nederlanden, GE Capital (Bank BPH), and Deutsche Bank focused on creating high-performing analytics, BI, and reporting teams. Damian earned his MBA from the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and his undergraduate and Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics.
